Started from 01.03.09, main entrance to Kampung Sungai Buloh from Jalan Besar will be closed for railway project (which i believe is GAMUDA-MMC Joint Venture) construction of Electrified Double Tracking project;329km northern section from Ipoh to Padang Besar. Here



This will be the new main entrance to Kampung Sungai Buloh

Sungai Siput residents especially Kampung Sungai Buloh had been using the main road for almost 100 years. I still remember as kids, the main road regularly gated and we have to wait patiently for the train to pass by before KTM worker open the gate again.

According to the notice board, the main road is now only allowed for Pedestrian & motorcycle....bicycle should be no problem. It didn't mention when the project will be completed. There are news that a new overhead bridge will be built...(But the notice board and relevant company didn't verified this).

和豐竹芭火車柵門封閉‧將建天橋只供電單車腳車使用

(霹靂‧和豐）和豐竹芭路口一道火車柵門從週日（3月1日）上午開始，已被有關方面以洋灰路礅封閉，只准電單車、腳踏車及行人進出，禁止車輛通行；已操作上百年的這道火車柵門，今後成為歷史。

在場的負責人表示，有關方面將在火車柵門處興建一座天橋，不過只供電單車、腳踏車及行人使用，而車輛則不能使用，預料工程將在幾個月後完成。

豎立通告牌提醒公眾

目前在火車柵門二端已經各別豎立一面通告牌，提醒公眾人士這火車柵於3月1日起被關閉，不過卻沒有寫明由何方豎立。有關告示牌寫著此通行火車軌道，將從3月1日（週日）起關閉，目的為進行雙軌火車工程，所有不便之處敬請原諒，（只允許電單車騎士與路人通行）。

有人對於此事向鐵道公司瞭解情況，但負責人也說不知情。

這道火車柵門被封閉不准車輛進出後，對竹芭居民，尤其是師爺廟住宅區一帶居民造成不便，他們今後駕車出入，必須繞道一大圈使用竹芭天橋。

黃水先：習慣從火車柵進出

居民黃水先受訪時說，竹芭路口火車柵已有逾百年歷史，過去一路來村民都從此進出，後來竹芭天橋建成後，居民才分2路進出。

他說，村民已習慣從火車柵進出，如今被封閉必然會感不便，不過由於社會發展，興建雙軌道工程進行中將火車柵門封閉，也是無可奈何的。

吳振財：應做足安全措施

居民吳振財說，竹芭火車柵門被封閉，只剩狹窄空間讓電單車、腳踏車及行人通行，由於空間狹窄，容易發生意外，希望有關方面做足安全措施，以免意外發生。

曾金發：盼天橋早日興建

居民曾金發希望有關方面儘快把天橋建成，雖然車輛不能通行，也方便電單車、腳車與行人出入方便。
