Humble is good but not necessary in Politic

Thanks for my friend-Tauke Minyak Azhelmy, above is the latest "hot" topic in blog arena. CM Penang YAB Lim Guan Eng caught taking Economic class flight alone.

Prior to this i have listen to my friends talking about how good opposition leader are especially below cases;

1) Cancellation of all summons & fine on hawkers
2) Land title for Kampung Baru
3) RM 1.00 for all school land
4) Penang cancel all new car (Perdana Executive) for executive
5) Penang CM want to stay at his own "old house"
6) Free water in Selangor
7) Penang bridge toll to be review
....Much much more

I beg differ opinion from them.

First; The future is belongs to our childrens.
This is the best any government guideline in making policy or development in country. All politician should bear in mind that whatever we do today, the effect will bear by future generation. Therefore it is most important for political party to continuously building up strong foundation for our future.

Cancelation of taxes, issuing free land title, stopping & reviewing project which "claims" to be no benefit to citizen etc sometime will directly effected our future generation value. State income & value of the land belongs is best left to the market (Supply & demand). How suppose our future can fully utilize the income & land usage for development if land been given free?? Natural resources should not given free to user but leasing it for the user as it can be benefit to the future Malaysian.
Second; VIP status is a honour, please act like VIP

Penang CM reject new house and latest taking economic flight is actually a risk to the Penang state. Being a state CM, you just like a captain in army batalion. It not necessary to prove you are hero, because you suppose playing the "Brain" character of the state.

Refuse to moving in CM house (don't know what to do with the house now?) & taking economy flight actually making his own security & indirectly Penang CM security in a high risk. Although Malaysia is safe place to live in, you should not "relax" it. Lim Guan Eng now is CM of Penang, also for the sake of Police responsible i do really hope he will move in the place where security can be done in best. What he doing now is actually making security force difficult.

Therefore, facilities given to the head of state is an honour with reason. Not really all because political motive like corruption or extra-lavish living style.

Third; In politic there is no need become gentlement

The best person who fit in the above meaning is PAK LAH. Generally public agree he is a nice, good, gentlement, humble etc politician yet he is not a good leader. Because of his "good", opposition take granted for it. The success of opposition today is actually the "contribution" from the humble PM.

I truly belief, you no need to act humble, gentlement or be nice in politic. What for? For the sake of the public? for look nice? look "mesra"? We must not please everyone just because of others not happy, the important is the bigger picture or benefit to larger malaysian.

Example is Rawang TNB transmitter tower. Much controversy been happened. Now the new government have take place. The rawang effected group are happy coz they tought the transmitter will not build up. So now how suppose TNB proceed the works which can be benefit larger malaysian citizen. The new government have proposed change the route. Yet it will effected the factory area.. and now the factory group not happy. Don't forget one very important point is...the effected land which the group of people are protesting is actually occupied illegally!! Being nice is sometime will only make reality harder to swallow in.

Ask yourself these questions:

Who owns the land in the first place? The rakyat or the political parties? If it's the rakyat, then why should the rakyat pay for land if it owns the land? The government charges for land NOT because it owns the land but rather it is providing services to the land ( defending it from enemies, collect rubbish...etc)

Is flying Economy, not acting like VIP? In the first place, why does he need such tight security? I agree, a certain amount of security is needed but to the extent that he needs to lock himself up in a CM's mansion is ridiculous. Does the public hate him like other BN politicians?

I assume 'gentlemen' here means being the 'nice guy' in politics. Do you think there's a difference between being a 'gentlemen' and being 'indecisive'? I think there is. I expect all politicians to be gentlemen. But at BN, we have indecisive politicians.

Think. Cheers.

Firstly,

i just can't help it but... i think you need to improve your command of the english language if you would like to blog in english. thats just my personal opinion because i find it really tough to to run through and understand the message you are trying to send.

ok... that aside...i think you have a very skewed opinion when it comes to being a politician

1. First; The future is belongs to our childrens.

You said it. Not me. So what is wrong with charging RM 1 for school land title so that schools can flourish and EDUCATE OUR CHILDREN so that THEY CAN HAVE A BRIGHTER Future? Secondly, many many govt. projects are of no BENEFIT whatsoever to the people. So why not scrap them?

2. Second; VIP status is a honour, please act like VIP

What the fuk? I am earning Pound Sterling and I have got no qualms taking Economy class. Whats so wrong about hanging out with the rakyat? To understand them better and to keep in touch with their issues and their lifestyle? What determines a VIP? The wine they drink? the cigar they smoke? Your head must be totally screwed for thinking this way. Its people like you that idolize the BN politicians. Do you know that Business class is 5 times the cost of Economy? And First class is 7 to 10 times? For what? 45 minutes of what? You are still sitting on the same plane. and if you crash, the first class passenger dies first.

And why do you need so many security and bodyguards unless you are so hated by the people. With so many bodyguards surrounding the BN 'VIPs' thats why they are so out of touch with the people

Third; In politic there is no need become gentlement
What the fuk? So you are indeed saying its ok to act like monkeys and dogs in Parliament? Jesus christ, you should go back to Sungai Siput and stay there!

And please... just close this blog. You are making a big fool out of yourself.

Totally agreed it is the "rakyat" who own the land.

"Public" is not hate Lim Guan Eng but those in previous government supporter might not so love him. For his safety,I do really hope he take alert.

Since the mansion is there for CM official residency, why waste it. Later if Pakatan Rakyat continuosly rule Penang, the mansion might become another "BOK house" issue.

Yes there is difference between "gentlement" & "indecisive".

Thanks for comment.

For the third commentor,

I totally admit my english command is terrible and need to work it on. Sincere apologize make you dizzy.

You have rights to give your opinions yet it is absolutely your personal view.

It is you who compare the meaning gentlement with "monkey" and "dogs" not me.

Close down the blog? I think you can consider it close when you stop visit my blog.

I understand "F" word is an expression in Western or english educated people, yet i appreciate if you don't put it down as i will not publish your comment in future.
