Story of a man called Chen Jian 陈坚..China Sichuan Earthquake Victim

I seldom read or watch what's going on in a disaster area. Not because I'm a cold blood person but I can't hold myself imagine all the faces asking for help.

Just now i saw my wife crying while reading a news article. I was curios and ask her let me have a look..(My wife read chinese Newspaper and I read NST). After go through the story, i also can't hold my tear... It's a man called Chen Jian.

Chen Jian is 26 year old guy, working in Beichuan. He has been trapped under the rocks and pinned down by the rubble for 73 hours, without food. What's keeping him alive is really touching.

At first the rescue worker thought Chen Jian can be rescued in 15 minute as all they need to do is lift up a bit of the concrete and drag him out. But they realize his body was struck with pipeline, so couldn't just drag him out. They need others equipment.

In waiting time , chen Jian actively talking to reporter...

"I do not wish my baby born without father.."
"Its been 3 day 3 night i didn't have food, just some water...but i feel my life still strong...If i don't die I must be having good luck thereafter..."

"Actually, yesterday night I almost can't hold it on...i want give up...but when i think about them (his family)..I dont want to lose them...I dont want to lose any member of my family...thats why i must alive..."
"I must be strong, for everyone who love me...must strong and alive...."
Then the equipment came. Chen Jian suddenly want to talk to his family...

"My wife name Tam Siew Foong, my family is from... I never hope much in this life...just wish both of us can live happy & simple for the rest for our life..."

Chen Jian was heard saying "1,2,3,4,5,6....8,9,10". but very weak sound..

Finally Chen jian is out from the rocks...when the rescue worker taking him down from the collapsed building... but He die in mid way..... just 30 minute after pull out.

The rescue worker was heard saying:

"You ..stupid child ....you been hold on for so long....why give up now...."
The lady reporter crying:

"wake up...wake up...your wife still waiting you at home..."
