The above event has just finished. I must say give them a good applause.
This is not a regular event which can be seen on our television program. The Malaysia government is willing to take the risk and give the program a free hand to go ahead. There are people saying that the most valuable & greatest contribution from PAK LAH since become PM is "Freedom of Mass Media". I must agree on that also.
This will be a good alternative & creative way to champion out political issue. Not need to waste public money Stucking in traffic, making policemen suffer emotionally and physically, tarnishing the country image etc... We are all civilised people, Just voice out political different in the form of "debate".
Debate will certainly let public have a calm mind to choose which fact and personality can be trusted. If we are going use emotional to choose a fact, 99.9% that will be a disaster choice.
The Debate between Anwar & Ahmad Shabery is not to choose a winner and look for a loser. The great civilize display by the two gentlemen is the most valuable.
A neutral venue, a respected host (Johan Jaafar), both side sent one panelist, attended by many supporter from both camp..(I saw lots of MP from Pakatan Rakyat like Wee Choo Keong, Loh Gwo Burne etc , but i didn't notice any MP from BN). The process of debate are well managed.
...Yet I do believe Dato Ahmad Shabery Cheek will be a very famous politician after this debate....thanks to anwar...
